Insurance

CoreStory is considered in-network with most Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) plans, such as Empire and Anthem. 

For all other insurance carriers, CoreStory is considered an “out-of network” provider. We submit all necessary paperwork to secure reimbursement for your out-of-network coverage.  Please ask your insurance company about out-of-network insurance coverage and consider asking the following questions:

  • Do I have behavioral/mental health benefits?

  • What is my deductible and has it been met?

  • How much does my plan cover for an out-of-network psychologist?

  • What is the coverage amount per therapy session with a psychologist?


Payment

Cash, check and all major credit cards accepted for payment. Payment is due at each session.


Cancellation Policy

Your weekly meeting time will be considered your time, reserved only for you. Since that appointment cannot be offered to anyone else, we request 48 hours’ notice to cancel a session. We expect to meet with you weekly unless there is an emergency. We charge our full fee for sessions that are cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice. We will ask you to provide credit card information, and will charge the card our full fee in the event of a late cancellation or no show. In the rare occasion that an emergency forces us to cancel our appointment, we will make every effort to do so with at least 48 hours’ notice. If we cannot, we will reschedule your appointment for as soon as possible.
